Meet Dr. Happy Msomi, a remarkable individual whose journey from Melmoth in KZN to Durban is a testament to purposeful living. Beyond her roles as an accountant and lecturer, Dr. Happy is the visionary behind Women of Purpose, a global force dedicated to empowering women.
She is married and has three children. She is also an author and a sought-after speaker. Together with her husband, they established the High Praise Worship Centre Church. Her multifaceted talents extend to being a sought-after speaker and coach.
Her story begins in a small town in the heart of the South African province of KZN. She was born into a family of humble farmers and farmhands. Her dream was to make a difference in the lives of those around her. As she grew older, her passion for helping others grew and she decided to pursue her dream.
As a young woman, she became involved in various community initiatives and joined the Durban Community Development Association (DCDA). She worked tirelessly to improve the lives of the local residents and to raise awareness about the importance of education and social justice.
In 2023, Dr. Happy Msomi received the prestigious Honorary Doctorate in Ministry and Community Development. She has been awarded numerous awards and recognition for her work in the field of ministry and community development. Her story has inspired countless women to embrace their strengths, pursue their passions, and lead fulfilling lives with purpose and confidence.
